Florida "Family" Association now Targeting MTV

Who are these crazy people?

According to American "Family" Association's OneNewsNow, the Florida "Family" Association is taking on more "pro-'gay' advertisers"     scare quotes and all. You may recall that these are the unglued Christian fanatics who persuaded Lowes to withdraw advertising on a show that was too "Islamic" for their tastes.

Their David Caton is now pissed off at MTV's TeenNick. According to Caton:
It has content that is very extraordinarily explicit towards transgender and homosexual lifestyles . . . It often has promotions on there that direct teens to organizations that will encourage them to embrace and accept the transgender or homosexual lifestyle, particularly     a website that describes itself as "a free and confidential service that's open for gay and questioning youth," and claims to be "saving lives" by encouraging confused kids to "be proud of who you are."
I didn't know that anything could be "very extraordinarily" but the fact that anyone would listen to these nuts is just insane. I can save the lengthy polemic. This boils down to two provably wrong assumptions:
  1. Sexual orientation is a choice and;
  2. It is somehow contagious
 I wonder just how much contact is required to catch "the gay." Is the contagion airborne? Ugh!
