Minnesota marriage equality has an imaginary friend?

According to inequality advocate, John Helmberger, that seems to be the case:

Dear Friends,

I am writing you today because liberal opponents of traditional marriage have announced that a major - George Soros - like donor will match all donations up to $200,000 to defeat the Minnesota Marriage Protection Amendment.

This means that the assault on marriage in Minnesota is now receiving nation-wide financial support. But, even funding like this won't stop us from protecting marriage by putting it in our state constitution where activist judges and politicians can't meddle with it.

I am not at all sure what it takes to be like George Soros. Is it wealth or advocacy that is, more often than not, in contravention to one's own financial interests?

What I am sure of is that marriage is not under assault in Minnesota.

I am still waiting to learn of just one marriage that has been adversely affected by marriage equality? I am also sure that there is an assault on the children of gay parents who deserve the stability and security of married parents. Furthermore, I am certain that there is an assault on loving gay couples who want to marry and that said assault is based on religious objections that insult the Establishment Clause of the US Constitution.
