Frank Schubert Departs Schubert Flint Public Affairs

Frank Schubert was National Organization for Marriage's anti-gay campaign manager for the 2008 Proposition 8 contest and Maine's Question One, the following year. Schubert is credited with crafting the meme that "children will be taught gay marriage in school." At it's core, the strategy asserts that gays present a threat to children. After their victory in Maine, in 2009, Schubert claimed that he "broke the back" of the marriage equality movement. Obviously that has not turned out to the be the case.

Perhaps Mr. Schubert became toxic for the business model.
According to Christian Newswire:

Jeff Flint, a partner in the firm, will take over running the company and will serve as its president. Flint is expected to lead a restructuring and rebranding of the firm, including naming additional partners, and will focus the company exclusively on serving corporate, governmental, nonprofit and trade association clients.

Schubert, a conservative Catholic, said he would build a new national consulting practice focused on social issues such as protecting life, strengthening families, preserving traditional marriage and protecting religious liberties, along with pursuing conservative public policies that promote prosperity and liberty.
