Obama admits that he "has been going through an evolution on this issue." If that is the case, I'd like to know if his thinking could soon evolve to include plural, incestuous, and adult-child marriages. If Obama has flipped-flopped in his thinking on this issue, it isn't a stretch to believe that further redefinition of marriage is possible. So same-sex marriage is akin to incest and child molestation? Nice to know. It's hard to understand why the SPLC would designate IFI a hate group. Behold the "freshening:"
Chairman, Dr. John J. Koehler, seems to be employed by one of those "urgent care clinics" Physicians Immediate Care. Do his patients know that he chairs a hate group?
President, Bruce Tincknel, is apparently CEO of a small market research company called Just the Facts.
Board Member, Pastor Rich Giovannetti, is a piece of work. His operation is the Standing in the Word Ministries. He proudly displays the IFI link on his website. Also on his website is this:
Pastor Rich received his Bachelor of Theology from The Global Ministry Bible Institute, Tampa FL. He can teach the Diploma & Degree Courses for “The School of the Local Church” for GMBI.Actually, he is probably not eligible to teach anything anywhere. He has a vanity degree from a "school" that is not accredited
Board member, Jim Finnegan, seems to be retired and active in anti-choice as well as anti-equality campaigns. He has been "interviewed" by Porno Pete who refers to him as "a longtime pro-life and pro-family Catholic advocate in the Chicago area."
Finally, there is executive director, David E. Smith. Smith claims to have been an aid to an unidentified Chicago alderman for seven years. He's been with IFI since 2003, Executive Director since 2006.
