NOM's Washington State franchise failing?

I received an email this morning with the following:

Have you returned your GREEN R-74 petitions and signatures?  To date we have approximately 70,000 signatures turned in.  We need at least twice that many to ensure that we have 120,577 valid signatures.  That equates to 3,500 signatures per day between now and May 31st.  Please return what you have to date.  We will send you fresh petitions if you need more.

After last night's debacle, I hate to predict anything but it looks like they are having a very difficult time getting enough signatures to put R-74 on the November ballot. It is possible that we have already won this battle.
