Preacher Sean Harris' VERY incomplete retraction

Sean Harris is the Senior Pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Fayettevile, NC. Yesterday, on Pastor Sean's Blog, the lead item was a 55 minute video of a fire and brimstone sermon about the evils of gay people and gay marriage. Today, that has been replaced with a statement titled Official Statement of Retraction.

As most of you know by now, via a widely circulated audio, Harris said, in that sermon,

Dads, the second you see your son dropping the limp wrist, you walk over there and crack that wrist. Man up. Give him a good punch. Ok? You are not going to act like that. You were made by God to be a male and you are going to be a male.
[ ... ]
You are authorized. I just gave you a special dispensation this morning to do that.
Harris is apparently a pathological liar.

In today's "retraction" he amazingly claims:
I have never suggested children or those in the LGBT lifestyle should be beaten, punched, abused (physically or psychologically) in any form or fashion.
Overlooked in all of this is the fact that Harris delivered 55 minutes of anti-gay bigotry. Among the other things that he said was that gays have a lifespan 20 years shorter than average. Among the stupider things that he claims is that marriage equality is a threat to producing enough children to sustain the population. He claims, however, that Muslims will still produce enough children to take us over. He goes on to make remarkably moronic claims about a shrinking workforce causing the trade imbalance which is why gay marriage is bad. Seriously? Harris then goes into a tirade that "two dudes shacking up are not good for America." because they don't produce children.

The bigoted prick goes on and on. According to him, the Bible proves that gays aren't born that way. The full sermon is still available here . Presumably he forgot to delete it at the source.
