Aww, Isn't NOM Special?

Today, on their blog, National Organization for Marriage incorporates an article that appeared in First Things. NOM's caption is: Leroy Huizenga: "Opposing Gay Marriage Is Rational, Not Religious." Needless to say, the author doesn't make a coherent (let alone persuasive) case.

However, what is truly amazing is that the author is the Director of the Christian Center at a Christian college writing in a Christian publication. NOM is an Opus Dei affiliate that is a proxy for the US Conference of Catholic Bishops;

... and opposition to marriage equality isn't religious?
