Bachmann via NOM - again

As has been previously reported, National Organization for Marriage has provided Michele Bachmann with their email list without the consent of those who are on it. I certainly never gave NOM permission to provide a third party with an email address for them to spam.

Today, I received a new missive titled: FWD: Shield our Conservative Values. Therein we learn some remarkable things from Neptune's congresswoman:

• Her opponent is ruthlessly liberal. I have no idea what that means and neither does Bachmann;
• ... who isn't afraid to spend his substantial wealth on lies and false attacks. Which usually means repeating what Bachmann actually said.
• I am one of Michele's greatest supporters. Who knew?
• ... if Michele loses this race to the extreme left, her authentic brand of constitutional conservatism will be gone from Washington. Just a reminder of Michele's grasp of history:

We know we were not perfect. We know there was slavery that was still tolerated when the nation began. We know that was an evil and it was scourge and a blot and a stain upon our history. But we also know that the very founders that wrote those documents worked tirelessly until slavery was no more in the United States. And I think it is high time that we recognize the contribution of our forebears, who worked tirelessly, men like John Quincy Adams, who would not rest until slavery was extinguished in the country.
