Blowhard Bill Donohue is at it yet again

I think that Bill Donohue is still advocating for the Spanish Inquisition. The (very overpaid) head of the Catholic League (a divorced man) explains why the Roman Catholic Church and its hierarchy are always right. This week (and it's always in ALL CAPS) blowhard Bill screams: OHIO CATHOLIC SCHOOL OFFICIAL FIRED followed by "woe is us at the hands of the hypocritical liberal media."

Blowhard Bill explains:
This issue has nothing to do with the firing of the Cincinnati administrator—the Left would have applauded if he were fired for making anti-gay remarks—it has everything to do with offending liberal sensibilities.
He then goes on to list all of the Catholics fired, mostly by the same liberal media. BB complains, for example, that "Pat Buchanan was fired from MSNBC because he wrote a book his employer didn’t like."

After all, it could not possibly have been the accumulation of nativist, homophobic, misogynistic, racist  and anti-Muslim remarks on their air that caused MSNBC to finally pull the plug on Mr. Buchanan.

More importantly, Bill changed the subject. The school official, Mike Moroski, Assistant Principal of Purcell Marian (Catholic) High School in Ohio, was terminated for writing on his blog that he supported marriage equality. He was given the opportunity to renounce his views and retain his job but he declined. Aside from the fact that Mike is a class act, the real issue is the teachings of the Catholic Church.

That is the discussion that Blowhard Bill does not want to have because another teaching of the Catholic Church is obedience to the hierarchy. Of equal, or greater, importance is the fact that the Catholic Church is trying to impose their beliefs on everyone else. Blowhard Bill would defend that as well irrespective of the Establishment Clause of the US Constitution.
