Image representing Intel as depicted in CrunchBase I have been reading some of the right wing blogs. People are going nuts over which companies not to do business with. So let's start with smartphones. Unless they want to use antiques, Android is developed by Google and we all know that the iPhone is from Apple.

With computers they are really screwed. In our Apple v PC world, the PC's have either Intel or AMD processors and both of those have signed on to the brief. If they get past that, they are still going to be running software sold by either Apple of Microsoft. My computers are all running Linux     but Linus Torvalds is gay. I suppose that they could run BSD but that has enormous support from Apple (Apple computers run on a variant of BSD). Even if they overlooked that, I cannot see the God Squad dealing with the quirkiness of this flavor of Unix.

Up to now, Christians have been imitating mainstream businesses. They've come up with things like Christian Mingle and several Christian search engines (none of which are much good). It's pretty easy to try to Boycott Starbucks or General Mills (I recall something about Cheerios because they, too, support marriage equality). But phones and computers connected to the Internet are a considerable challenge.

Onward Christian soldiers. It's time for you to go into the computer business. Maybe you can find chips made by some Korean company. Of course then you are going to have to come up with an O/S and GUI to replace Windows. We'll check back in a few years to see how it's coming along.
