Matt Barber figures out the IRS controversy

J. Matt Barber
Matt Barber indulges in a diatribe against President Obama this morning. He titles his polemic "Tyranny on Steroids."

His latest rant is just more of Barber's usual pretentious drivel. Essentially, Barber accuses the President of using the IRS to prosecute political foes. He doesn't seem to explain how the IG concluded that the misadventures of the IRS were non-partisan. Presumably, the IG had more evidence than what is available to Barber. Barber goes on to claim that the IRS is operating in contravention to the Fourth Amendment. Sure.

I was struck by Barber's bio line in conclusion:
Matt Barber (@jmattbarber on Twitter) is an attorney concentrating in constitutional law. He serves as vice president of Liberty Counsel Action.
I cannot find any indication that Barber is licensed, or has ever been licensed, to practice law in either Illinois (his home state) or Virginia (the locale of Liberty Counsel). I checked several other states as well. That makes him a lawyer; not an attorney. The notion that an unlicensed lawyer who obtained his law degree on-line and who may not have even passed the bar is "concentrating in constitutional law" is nothing short of ludicrous.
