Doyle now links cancellation of "ex-gay" pride event to FRC shooting

All of the "ex-gays" that we are ever acquainted with make a living by claiming to be "ex-gay." That includes Chris Doyle and his partner, Moonie Richard Cohen.

Richard Cohen
With Family Research Council as a sponsor, Doyle was planning an event in Washington, DC on July 31 to culminate "ex-gay pride" month. They are keeping Richard Cohen out of public view these days. FRC had arranged for Michele Bachmann and other "usual suspects" to attend the banquet. Then, two days ago, the event was abruptly cancelled. Presumably, they could not find enough so-called "ex-gays" to fill a table.

Christopher Doyle, co-founder of Voice of the Voiceless, was planning a day in Washington, DC, to lobby members of Congress and end with a dinner at the Family Research Council headquarters.
Lobby for what? Ex-gays are supposedly straight. Oh the intolerance!
Doyle says the publicized event received some “very, very good press,” but the organization also received “a lot of harassment” via phone calls and emails. He calls angry anti-Voice of the Voiceless postings on the Internet “very disconcerting.”
What "very, very good press?" None of the Internet posts about this idiotic event were angry. People were laughing at the audacity. Who would take the time to call or even email these crackpots? Please. But then:
In light of the FRC incident in August 2012, in which Floyd Corkin wounded a building operations manager, and the violence directed at street preachers at a recent Washington state homosexual pride event, Voice of the Voiceless decided to move their event to an undisclosed location in September.
First of all this so-called Voice of the Voiceless (very original) is comprised of two people. FRC was staging the event. The purpose was for FRC to have justification for its anti-gay activities. Secondly, FRC has no intention of a "secret location." That would defeat the whole purpose. In September, these nitwits will have the same problem; "Ex-gays" are as rare as unicorns.
In the past, such people have surrounded the group during its event and shouted obscenities through bullhorns, which Voice predicted would happen again.
What event? When? Where? My guess is that FRC just wants this to go away - forever.
