Maggie Gallagher - 'Pope Francis: Marriage is One Man and One Woman'

Two Popes collaborate and they still cannot explain why same-sex marriage is harmful.

Maggie Gallagher
National Organization for Marriage co-founder, Maggie Gallagher, goes on to quote the Pope(s) and commentary by LifeSiteNews. Ms. Gallagher is entitled to her religious beliefs.

Maggie and the rest of the NOMmers should stop trying to impose those beliefs on everyone else by force of law. Maggie is a smart woman. Her position should be limited to trying to persuade gay Catholics not to marry and to remain celibate. I am fine with that.
I should mention that Ms. Gallagher opposes any form of legal recognition for gay couples. Someone should remind Ms. Gallagher that the overwhelming majority of US citizens do not believe that another human being (the Pope) is inerrant.

Maggie is also divorced from reality. Gay people are going to couple. Doing so satisfies a basic human need. Furthermore, those gay people are going to have sex (I should mention that Ms. Gallagher also opposes masturbation). Some of those gay couples are also going to have children whether from a previous marriage, though adoption, IVF or surrogacy. Gay couples have been doing that for decades now.

So the question that I have for Maggie is this; If those conditions exist and unlikely to change then wouldn't we all be better off if those gay couples could marry? Maggie?
