NOM complains about oversight that they have not complied with

On their blog, National Organization for Marriage posts “Albany, where even transparency is discussed in secret.” They go on:
The New York Times reports on the New York State Ethics Commission's questionable handling of requests for exemption from a state law, now two years old, that forces non-profits that engage in lobbying to turn over names of donors.
The same commission is responsible for oversight of campaign finance disclosure. In New York, NOM did exactly what they did in Maine and Iowa; They bundled contributions to political campaigns without disclosing their donors as required under New York State law.
