Why is Bradlee Dean raising money to prosecute a seemingly closed case?

Bradlee Dean
It's almost unsporting. Aside from being rapidly anti-gay, Bradlee Dean (Bradley Smith) is a dim bulb. He's also not terribly honest.

I was reading one of Bradley Dean's incoherent screeds on WND today. At the bottom of the piece is this:

Mr. Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin. About the only thing that Ms. Maddow did to Mr. Dean was to quote him verbatim. Click on the link and you get this gimme money rant (at Mr. Dean's website):

"Every conservative leader?" Wow. I'm not exactly sure which conservatives have been threatened with what violence nor how that is relevant.

Portions of the Docket

June 25, 2012:
Memorandum and Order Granting in Part Defendants' Motion for Attorneys' Fees and Denying Plaintiffs' Combined Motions for Reconsideration and Sanctions Entered on the Docket 6/25/12. Signed in chambers 6/25/12. Electronically filed via CaseFileXPress on counsel for the parties 6/25/12. Plaintiffs shall pay to Defendants fees and costs in the amount of $24,625.23 within thirty days. ZELDON zss.
November 14, 2012:
Order dismissing the case with prejudice entered on docket on 11/14/12. Signed by Judge Zeldon in chambers on 11/14/12. E-filed/e-served via CFX on 11/14/12. Copies mailed to pro hac vice attorneys from chambers on 11/15/12. mfd
An appeal was dismissed on December 3 and, according to the court:

For the record (using Pacer), there is no case pending in any federal district court or court of appeals either.

According to Dean's organization's tax return for 2011, You Can Run but You Cannot Hide took in $871K and spent $962K resulting in a shortfall of $91K. Dean takes out $122K of which $42K is a non-taxable housing allowance (something that I will refer to the IRS).
