Perkins: 'Texas Ruling Striking Marriage Amendment is Attack on Rule of Law' - Oh the tyranny

Exploding head
I think that Tony Perkins' head has finally exploded today. The viscera hit the fan in the aftermath of a federal court ruling striking down the ban on marriage equality in Texas. Perkins, president of the hate group, Family Research Council, sent out an email late this afternoon.
The state of Texas is the latest victim of a judicial free-for-all in making a lawless mockery of the ideals that our Founding Fathers stood for.
Really? How is anyone victimized? Where is the catastrophe?

A court-imposed redefinition of marriage strips away the fundamental right to self-governance. …
Ah yes, the tedious but requisite “will of the people” argument. In United States v. Windsor [sigh - again] Justice Kennedy wrote that the states were free to regulate marriage. However, they “must respect the constitutional rights of persons.” Kennedy then cited Loving v. Virginia which is rather telling.
While these activist judges appear to be rolling out a rainbow colored aisle runner leading the way for a nation-wide redefinition of marriage, the U.S. Supreme Court will ultimately have to decide on the redefinition of marriage. Hopefully, the Court will refrain from repeating the disaster of Roe v. Wade by imposing a radical minority view on the nation. …
By now we all know that an “activist judge” is a jurist who makes a decision that one doesn't like. Referring to Roe v. Wade is an implicit threat that fundamentalist Christians will never be happy with the ruling. Who cares? These people are in a state of permanent pissed off anyway.
