What is the purpose of NOM's "Marriage March?"

Isn't it patently obvious that National Organization for Marriage is done? This "march" accomplishes absolutely nothing. Public support of marriage equality is at an all-time high, the last time it was on the ballot, in 2012, equal marriage ran the table. Marriage equality is now in the courts. Post United States v. Windsor supporters of equality are on the winning end 100% of the time. Marriage equality is headed to the US Supreme Court where the outcome is probably the same as the outcome in Windsor.

This so-called march is an assembly of older religious conservatives and it is designed to create contributions to an organization that will soon cease to exist. As a proxy for the Catholic Church and the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, NOM's raison d'ĂȘtre was opposition to same-sex marriage. It seems that they lost.
