Teen forced to wear "Gaytard" nametag at work

For a first-hand view of what homophobia does to gay kids, watch this video to the very end.

Sixteen-year-old Tyler Brandt wanted to work at Taco John's in Yankton, South Dakota to make a few extra bucks that he needed. The teen put up with a heap of verbal abuse from the store's manager. Then:
He pulled me into the office and gave me a name tag that read 'Gaytard' on it and asked me to wear it. So, I put it on because I didn't want to upset him and I felt that if I did do anything to upset him, it would cause me to lose my job because he'd be looking for ways to fire me .

Tyler endured the humiliation for a few days, doing his best to hide the name tag. Finally, he quit.
I don't think that any person has to put up with what has been going on. I don't think that anybody should have to put up with any kind of discrimination. It's not fair.
The kid is right. Workplace discrimination is not fair. Hopefully he can sue these idiots.
