Todd Starnes continues to demonstrates how dumb he is

Fox's culture warrior, Todd Starnes, is well known for his factual inaccuracies. Check out this bit of confusion and intent to mislead:
Kyle Tucker is sixteen years old. He’s a Boy Scout from Avondale, Arizona.

For his Eagle Scout project, Kyle decided to install an American flag pole at his charter high school.
[…]

However, since his school is located inside a commercial complex, he also had to get approval from the Coronado Professional Condominium Association. And that organization decided to throw up a road block.

They told the school they would have to increase their insurance coverage by $650,000 to install the pole.

Now if you’re good at math you know it would take 65,000 spaghetti dinners at $10-a-plate to cover the additional costs. Since Kyle doesn’t have anywhere near that kind of linguine, his patriotic deed is in limbo.
No Mr. Starnes. No. Assuming that the rest of your story is all true (experience suggests otherwise), the $650 thou is the increase in coverage and not the increase in the premium. The original story, which Starnes edited for convenience, makes this more apparent in referring to a policy rider.
