Indiana's license to discriminate bill moves forward

On Monday the Indiana House passed a bill, allegedly to protect business owners who do not want to provide services for same-sex couples. A version was previously passed by the Republican-controlled Senate, and Republican Governor Mike Pence, a Republican, has indicated support for it.

It is amazing to know that we would be, officially, second class citizens. Actually, it is disgraceful. The insidious part is that the business owner doesn't have to post a sign. He or she can just turn away gays on a whim without society knowing that he or she is a bigot.
