The 57 GOPers who signed the Republican congressional amicus brief

Of 299 Republican members of Congress only 57 signed onto the brief. That amounts to a paltry 19%. The total is comprised of 51 House members and 6 senators. Their argument is mostly a federalist approach — this is a matter for the individual states to resolve. They also caution against swift social change. The word “procreative” is nowhere to be found. Noticeably missing from the signatories is Jefferson Beauregard Sessions, III. The list, as presented in the brief:
