Way to go NOM: 5 days - 5 thousand signatures vs. 3 million members

In an effort to re-energize it's campaign against Angie's List, National Organization for Marriage sent out an email blast to supporters on Wednesday. The email mirrors a new blog post titled Fight Back Against The Intolerance! Angie's list has more than three million members. In five days NOM has persuaded 1,600 people to claim to have canceled their List memberships and another 3,800 people to sign a petition claiming that Angie's List is bad, bad, bad.

NOM complaining that they are the victims of intolerance is like the Klan claiming that they are the victims of anti-white racism. According to Brian Brown, president of NOM:
Angie's List CEO Bill Oesterle said on television late last week: "Our position is that this 'fix' is insufficient. There was no repeal of RFRA and no end to discrimination of homosexuals in Indiana."

Of course, it's patently false that discrimination against homosexuals is legal in Indiana.
“Of course” Mr. Brown is wrong. Sexual orientation is not a protected class in Indiana meaning that gay people have no protection against workplace discrimination or discrimination in public accommodations.
