Larry Tomczak knows what's pissing off God and he has a list

God is very, very displeased but
Larry Tomczak has a salesman's smile
Larry Tomczak, a pastor with a loud microphone and connections to Liberty Counsel, seems to think that we need Larry Tomczak to make sense of the world. We could never figure things without Larry Tomczak. The intended inference is that he speaks with his god and that his god speaks through him. Either way, he has posted a warning to Charisma News titled "Time to Pray for God's Merciful Judgment on America."

These people never have anything positive to say. Their god is always angry and we are always on the verge of some form of retribution. Economic inequality, greed, our treatment of poor people and disproportionately allocated medical care never seem to be a source of God's heartburn. He doesn't even get upset over our destruction of the planet (which they think is the center of the universe). Historically, our penchant for inhumanity is endless. Genocide of Native Americans followed by slavery followed by institutional racism didn't seem to get God's blood pressure up. But gay marriage? Well, … we're in for it.

A few of the items on Tomczak's latest list, compiled "over the last couple of weeks:"
Homosexual "marriages" are now the law of the land, overturning 4,000 years of Western civilization history. President Barack Obama aggressively celebrates this. Former President Jimmy Carter, who says he is born again, declared, "I think Jesus would encourage any love affair if it was honest. ... I believe Jesus would approve gay marriage."
Tomczak discounts even the possibility that President Carter (who still teaches Sunday school)  might be more knowledgeable than Tomczak. Maybe God prefers married couples to people just shacking up. If we are going to be biblical literalists then let's do the whole thing including the murder of insolent children and brides who are not virgins. When did God say that we could pick and choose? Larry continues:
Religious freedoms erode at warp speed. Dr. Paul Church, Boston urologist, expelled for "discrimination" in voicing his perspective on homosexuality and its high risk disease factor.
Really? "Warp speed?" You mean the schmuck who (in posts to the hospital's intranet for all to see) calls gay pride the celebration of sexual perversion? It seems to be perfectly acceptable not to hire a gay citizen (they need the freedom to discriminate). Yet an employer cannot require common decency from the more senior members of its workforce.
Hostility and persecution of Christians increases, including a recent college massacre of nine Christian students. Saturday Night Live mocks of Kim Davis as a crazed moron, along with Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee portrayed as delusional, dementia patients.
You just knew that the Oregon shooting was going to be used as an example of Christian persecution. Shame on him. If God had a sense of humor he would watch SNL. Davis, Santorum and Huckabee are just a short list of people who beg to be mocked.
Cable and now network TV feature nudity, profanity and homosexuality as standard fare.
So Tomczak's god is worried about what we watch on television? Really? He further advises:
America is on a precipice and our only hope is in the gospel proclaimed to transform hearts and fervent prayer that I believe now includes a component of appealing for God's justice and His judgment. I know this message won't go over well with both unbelievers and many Christians, but the time has come. When respected leaders cited God's judgment after 9/11, remember the outcry and outrage that followed? Get ready.
That's right. Crazy people flew airplanes into buildings for their god because Tomczak's god had a hissy fit. Tomczak's god killed some 3,000 innocent people to make a point? If there is an omnipotent god then he or she does not need our worship or adoration unless the god is some form of narcissist.

This piece goes on and on citing scripture and repeating evidence of a personality disorder. Of course Tomczak's polemic includes a link to his website which sells his books and CDs.
