Wherever does Robert George find the time to do anything for Princeton University?

Fidelity Network

Friday, October 30 marks the beginning of the The Love and Fidelity Network's Sexuality, Integrity, and the University conference. The stated goal of the event is “to connect college men and women, young professionals, and community supporters to leading scholars and experts in order to equip them with the best arguments and resources in support of marriage, family, and sexual integrity. Participants and livestream viewers will also find ample opportunity to network with and learn from each other and attend sessions designed to equip them to bring the message of love and fidelity back to their respective campuses and to the public square.”

The reality is that this is ultra-conservative Catholic indoctrination. This is also where they might identify and recruit the next Ryan Anderson. Ultimately, this is an effort to influence public policy in the future by recruiting young people to their cause.

There is something rather familiar about the advisory board:
  • Patrick Fagan is the director of the Center for Family and Religion at the anti-gay hate group Family Research Council. Fagan would like to make it illegal for single people to have sex. He calls same-sex marriages “garriages” for gay men and “larriages” for lesbians.
  • Maggie Gallagher was the original president of National Organization for Marriage and has been affiliated with the American Principles Project which was founded by Robert George.
  • Robert P. George is a professor at Princeton and involved in the founding of numerous organizations including the National Organization for Marriage, the American Principles Project and the Witherspoon Institute.  George claims that gay people are a threat to children. Most recently George has been involved in an unlawful effort to nullify the ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges.
  • Luis E. Tellez is an Opus Dei numerary (celibate secular) and president of Witherspoon Institute. He also serves on the boards of the American Principles Project and National Organization for Marriage. Witherspoon provided the funding for the discredited Regnerus study intended to influence the Supreme Court in opposition to marriage equality and same-sex parenting.
Love and Fidelity Network is actually the Collegiate Cultural Foundation a 501(c)3 which, among other things, runs the orthodox Catholic Anscombe society at Princeton University at which Robert George is a frequent presenter. CCF is run by Elizabeth O'Brien out of an office in Media, PA that houses the investment advisers O'Brien, Greene and Co. CEO Mark O'Brien is on the boards of Witherspoon Institute and George's James Madison Program at Princeton. By the way, Ryan T. Anderson is on the board of CCF. There is something incestuous about all of this.
