Gallup: Satisfaction With Acceptance of Gays in U.S. at New High


According to a new Gallup poll, 60% of Americans are satisfied with the acceptance of gays in the United States. 16% of Americans want to see more acceptance while 14% want less acceptance.


These numbers are an increase of 7% from last year. Just ten years ago only 32% of Americans were satisfied with the acceptance of gays and lesbians. I think that we can safely infer that Americans are content with the decision of the Supreme Court in Obergefell v. Hodges which legalized same-sex marriage last June.

Even Republicans, on the whole, have gotten on board which means
that GOP politicians are behind the curve
