Let us have some Christian supremacy indoctrination

The anti-gay Minnesota Family Council (MFC) is organizing its annual one-week summer boot camp for high school students — MN Student Statesmanship Institute. MFC is headed by John Helmberger who – prior to Obergefell – framed civil marriage as a “battle between God and gays.” He has also claimed that there is no such thing as the separation of church and state.

They haven't disclosed who will be brainwashing the kids this year but last year was highlighted by Reuben David who was born and raised in India. His bio on one website reads “Reuben David is a Christian apologist who makes a case for the supremacy of Christ among world religions, cultures, philosophies, science and all.” Have you wondered why there is that streak of anti-Semitism and Islamphobia among the faithful? Wonder where they get the notion of Christian privilege?

There are many speakers but another one who caught my eye is Dave Eaton who will be speaking on intelligent design. They are teens. Time dumb them down and to curb their intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills. Eaton used to be on the Minnesota school board. For years he tried to get intelligent design (repackaged creationism) into the curriculum. Intelligent design is a thoroughly discredited theory that Evolution is controversial and that life is the result of a supernatural force.

Helmberger calls it “leaders on the horizon.” I am inclined to call it child abuse. All this and more for $499.
