Liberty Counsel claims they won what they lost

It took a 170 page homphobic diatribe to do it but today the Alabama Supreme Court dismissed “all pending motions and petitions.” I tried to get through it and gave up after about 20 pages of Roy Moore's anti-gay bullshit. They reached the only conclusion that they could (Obergefell is the law of the land) but each judge was given an opportunity to vent just how much they dislike “homosexual ‘marriage.’”

Yet, along comes Mat Staver, head of the anti-gay hate group Liberty Counsel

Staver's email is titled “Alabama Supreme Court Rejects U. S. Supreme Court's Marriage Opinion.” It is an extremely lengthy email. To give you a taste:
Today, in a 170-page ruling, the Alabama Supreme Court rejected the U.S. Supreme Court's marriage opinion by issuing its own Judgement in favor of Liberty Counsel's Petition for Mandamus. In the petition, Liberty Counsel demanded on behalf of its Alabama clients - Alabama Policy Institute ("API") and Alabama Citizens Action Program ("ALCAP") - that the state's probate judges obey Alabama's Constitution and laws. On March 4, 2015, the Alabama Supreme Court ordered the probate judges to immediately cease issuing same-sex marriage licenses.
It's Friday. I am tired and impatient. Any notion of self-censorship went down the crapper a couple hours ago. I'm left with: These people are fucking maniacs off their meds.
