Now Brian Brown says that there is a problem

According to Mr. Misadventure, Brian S. Brown, head of National Organization for Marriage, so many people responded to his Fax Congress for FADA campaign that NOM has a heavy burden of expense. Actually it is the other way around. Shit-for-brains hasn't considered that fax spam creates expense on the receiving end. Some lowly congressional staffer has to sift through this crap.

He or she is going to figure out which faxes are from constituents of the congressperson. The rest get spiked. Garbage. Then some other lowly staffer will generate a form letter thanking the constituent for his or her concern for [fill in the blank]. Brown thinks that by keeping people in motion he is accomplishing something. Relevance perhaps. For someone who is not allowed to masturbate …

Now comes the good part.

But with us having to absorb the cost of 100,000 or more faxes, this could be a significant expense.

I am committed to making the Fax For FADA campaign free for all our supporters but I have to ask you as one of our best supporters if you would consider making an emergency financial contribution so that we can introduce the campaign to thousands more marriage supporters across America. Please make an emergency contribution of $15, $25, $50, $100 or even $250 or more. Whatever you can give will help us reach more people across the country.
100,000 or more? Seriously? The faxes are generated by a petition which now has about 2,000 signers. That's the problem with bullshit. When it becomes systemic people believe their own delusions forgetting little details like the counter at ActRight. Moreover, actually generating computer-based faxes is terribly economical.

The First Amendment Defense Act is not going to get anywhere and President Obama would just veto it if, by some miracle, it passed. However, they don't have the votes in the Senate.

This is just another con job to shake a few dollars out of the remaining true believers. Just how stupid does Brown think these people are?
