GOP strategy revolves around keeping Sanders supporters at home in November

Hillary R. Clinton
Right now Republican operatives are souring the country looking for anything that they can obtain regarding Hillary Clinton's paid speeches to Goldman Sachs. They are looking for recordings, transcripts and notes. They are even searching for employees who were in the room.

Ian Prior, the communications director for the Republican group American Crossroads, said information about the Goldman Sachs speeches could prove cataclysmic for the Democratic Party.

Finding and releasing the transcripts “would be a heck of a way to outflank Hillary on her left [in a general election] and stop Bernie’s supporters from voting for her,”

I have my doubts. Bernie is going to do anything possible to prevent a Trump presidency. The Clinton campaign is comprised of experienced professionals who are going to mount a vigorous get-out-the-vote campaign. It's hard to imagine people staying home with the looming possibility of a Trump presidency. It is something almost too awful to contemplate.
