Mazel tov to him and his lawyer, Mat Staver
In an email titled “Complaints Against Chief Justice Roy Moore Are Politically Motivated” Staver claims that Moore did no wrong. He also contrives this bit of fiction:
The Alabama ACLU, a federal court of appeals, and three federal District Courts all concluded this year that the U.S. Supreme Court's opinion does not automatically require the immediate issuance of marriage licenses to same-sex couples. But members of the JIC apparently think they know more that the courts, and decided to go after the Chief Justice for what amounts to a politically-motivated complaint.I confess that I haven't a clue what this fuckwit is talking about. As far as I know the ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges took immediate effect giving gay couples a constitutional right to marry. I am guessing that Staver has come up with an all-too-clever excuse for Moore to assert that probate judges had a “ministerial duty” not to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. Of course no one else will find it either clever or compelling. I would bet my Viagra that Moore is disciplined for his actions which probably means removal from the bench.
Politically motivated? They are probably all Republicans. What are these two douche bags saying?
Mat Staver and Roy Moore deserve each other. They should divorce their wives and marry each other in a Christian bond for eternity.
