Rubes and Boobs: SPLC probably made Roy Moore the next governor of Alabama

April 28: Roy Moore with his lawyer - Mat Staver
For the second time in his infamous career Roy Moore committed a serious ethics violation. This time he has been suspended pending a hearing before the Alabama Court of the Judiciary. Moore arrogantly issued an order instructing probate judges throughout Alabama to ignore the ruling of the Supreme Court and decline to issue marriage licenses to gay couples. The order told judges they had a “ministerial duty” to restrict marriage to heterosexual couples. “Ministerial duty?” Just how confused is this fuckwit?

So how did Alabama's Supreme Mullah react to being suspended?
The Judicial Inquiry Commission has no authority over the administrative orders of the chief justice of Alabama or the legal injunctions of the Alabama Supreme Court prohibiting probate judges from issuing same-sex marriage licenses. The Judicial Inquiry Commission has chosen to listen to people like Ambrosia Starling, a professed transvestite and other gay, lesbian and bisexual individuals, as well as organizations that support their agenda.
SPLC president, Richard Cohen, called Moore a disgrace. Based on his ridiculous reaction I call him an ignoramus. It is settled law that states must obey the rulings of the Supreme Court. Simply put, Roy Moore doesn't get a say on which rulings of Supreme Court of the United States he will obey. He is not a Roman tribune with veto power.

Moore will be out on his ass but – sadly – SPLC has probably guaranteed that he will be the next governor of Alabama. On the whole the people of Alabama really are the backwater rubes and boobs that we think they are. They voted to put this nitwit in the chief justice's chair of their supreme court after the first go-around. I suspect that they are going to put his and his crazy wife in the governor's mansion.
