The nation continues to mourn over the senseless violence and loss of life in the Orlando shooting. This is a time when a nation must come together, reminding that God loves all people, and all are His creation, made in His own image. We know there are millions praying for the families and friends of the victims, and we ask all to join together with them and for those who are wounded, that a healing of both the body and the community will be reality.Yet apparently their god's love does not extend to where transgender people can pee (in the following paragraph):
In April, Target publicized its corporate policy which allows men to frequent female restrooms and changing facilities. We view this policy as a danger to women and children because it provides a possible gateway for sexual predators to gain access to their victims. What they are saying is that sexual predators will pretend to be transgender in order to have increased access to women. Except for the fact that it doesn't seem to have ever happened. Keep in mind that transgender people have been using public bathrooms for decades. They go unnoticed for the most part. Unisex dressing rooms are extremely common—people aren't running around naked.
The email continues:
Since Target announced this dangerous policy in late April over 1.3 million people have signed the boycott Target pledge. This doesn’t include the millions of Americans who didn’t sign the pledge but feel the same way about Target.Target Corporation was not interested in a representative from a hate group. They knew in advance that AFA was sending someone, they know way AFA is and they were prepared for the question. In 2015 Target Corp. had revenues of $74 billion. Senior management of companies this size tend to know what they are doing. If Target has the best price on something or a unique item people are likely to say “fuck the pledge.” Every week I hold my nose and shop at anti-gay Publix. They have stuff that Whole Foods and Fresh Market simply don't have.
Last week AFA attended the annual Target shareholder meeting on your behalf. We voiced the concerns regarding the company’s dangerous policy which allows men free access to the same facilities as little girls. To no surprise, Target snubbed the AFA representative and ultimately snubbed you.
Not surprisingly this all ends with:
