Tony Perkins is full of crap - shocking I know

Tony Perkins
Thursday I have an email from Tony Perkins titled: “David, help FRC spread courage.” You bet Tony. I would love to send money to your hate group, Family Research Council. Apparently our 70% minority is just terribly persecuted. It's really awful what we have been doing to them:
The assault on the safety and privacy of women and children in locker rooms, showers, and restrooms, as I've mentioned.
The only assault is on our intelligence. Some people refuse to objectively understand the plight of a very small minority of our citizens. Most of the intervention is intended to keep transgender kids safe in school and to prevent them from being isolated. It is the same care and concern that a Christian would provide their own children.

Punishing Christians for refusing to participate in same-sex weddings.
Please. Baking a cake is not participating in a same-sex marriage. It's just baking a cake. Business are expected to comply with applicable nondiscrimination laws as they affect a public accommodation. It is settled law that there are no religious exemptions to otherwise valid laws. A business license is a privilege that comes with certain responsibilities.
Threatening states with the loss of school and highway funding for not complying with President Obama's lawless executive orders.
The department of education issued guidance stemming from Title IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. That is not an EO. Schools should accommodate trans children. The issue is overblown considering the number of trans kids that there actually are.
The push to force young women to sign up for selective service and send them into combat.
We have an all volunteer force. Women who want to be in combat should not be discriminated against because of some religious belief that assigns roles to men and women.
Usurping the constitutional authority of Congress.
For example …
Using the Departments of Justice, Education, Labor, and the IRS to intimidate and harass American citizens, especially people of faith.
For example …

Oh the persecution. Things haven't been this dreadful since Rome pitted Christians against lions in the arena. Maybe things are worse.
