When did Breitbart become this nutty?

Thomas D. Williams
“Thomas D. Williams, PhD” writesPhysicians Decry Pseudo-Science of Transgenderism, ‘Absurd’ to Say Anyone is Born Into ‘Wrong Body’.” I do not know where this guy got his doctorate but it seems to have been achieved without a great deal of critical thinking. Apparently that is, or was, Father Thomas D. Williams. He goes on to write:
The American College of Pediatricians (ACP) has released a position paper denouncing popular approaches to transgender, declaring that the current protocol is founded upon “unscientific gender ideology,” which lacks any basis in real evidence.

The physicians argue that the assumption that gender dysphoria (GD)—a psychological condition in which people experience a marked incongruence between their experienced gender and their biological sex—is innate contradicts all relevant data and is based on ideology rather than science.
I hate to be so repetitive but no one takes this minuscule hate group seriously:
Moreover, their paper is not published in a peer reviewed scholarly journal. Mr. Williams surely knows that self-published papers are bullshit per se.

Williams goes on to cite a study of transgenderism in identical twins. Williams claims that the fact that identical twins have different sexual identities is proof that transgenderism doesn't really exist. Having had a hand in raising identical twins I can confirm that Williams' assertion just adds another turd to the pile. Perhaps he did not notice that the paper was published in the International Journal of Transgenderism. Identical twins often have different sexual orientation as well. The differences in identical twins are found in the subgenomes.

When did Breitbart get this nutty? Andrew, when he was alive, had a libertarian streak. He even helped to set up the original Huffington Post. This piece is from the crazy bin.
