|Scott Howarth is a student at Arundel High School and|
president of the Chesapeake Regional Association of Student Councils.
That did not sit well with the Republican county executive, Steve Schuh. He said that the guidelines infringed on the rights of students. The Republican controlled county council got in the act with their opposition. The welfare of children is increasingly a political football.
We all know where this is going. Field trips and showers and toilets and whatever else the good Christians can think of to derail things. Then, of course, council members called for public hearings so that they can assemble a group of loud Christian parents who are obsessed with God's binary design or, … whatever. Apparently, they want to know about the presence of a trans kid so that they can opt their child out of the activity. Morons breeding morons.
Young Mr. Howarth:
We cannot imagine a scenario where anyone, parents, students, or nonessential staff, should be informed about the private body parts of a minor. It's sick.Howarth's representative is probably Congressman John Sarbanes. I hope that he is keeping an eye on this young man.
