Speculation grows about anti-LGBT Pam Bondi joining the Trump administration

Pam Bondi
Florida news outlets are reporting that Pam Bondi visited with Donald Trump and is a possible candidate for White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. The Florida attorney general is notoriously bigoted towards LGBT people. Before the Supreme Court ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges Bondi frustrated the ruling of a federal judge to prevent marriage equality in Florida for as long as possible.

Bondi was on a years long crusade to prevent gay couples from being legally wed. In 2014 court documents she argued that recognizing the legal marriages of same-sex couples from other states would “impose significant harm” to Florida’s population. In 2010 as a candidate she promised to vigorously oppose adoption by gay couples.

Bondi was probably the recipient of a bribe from Donald Trump. $25,000 was illegally washed through Trump's foundation. Trump attempted a clumsy cover-up by claiming that the donation was to another organization with a similar name. In return Bondi declined to investigate Trump's fraudulent “university.” Denying Florida residents, some of whom were bilked out of $35,000 and more, possible restitution continues to pay off for Bondi.

We are beginning to wonder if Trump knows anyone who is not an anti-LGBT zealot.
