NOM has nothing better to do

Brian S. Brown, leader of the insolvent National Organization for Marriage has sent out a follow-up: “Fox Doubles Down on Childhood Depravity – Fight Back.” Apparently the folks at NOM do not like a show on Fox. Instead of turning the channel …
The national news media is starting to pick up on our petition demanding that Fox cancel its disgusting new “comedy” show, The Mick. An article by City News Service in Los Angeles notes that the NOM petition has generated thousands of signatures of Americans demanding that the series be cancelled. <sic>
Unfortunately, Fox has doubled down on their depraved strategy of sexualizing children in The Mick, and has ordered four new episodes to be produced. The Mick shows a six-year old apparently transgender boy wearing a bondage gag, and also has him wear a dress. The show’s writers script the young boy to say the dress “breezes on my vagina” – a disgusting attempt at sexualized humor involving a child.
This all seems to be based on a promo. I don't think that the show they object to has aired. Someone should inform Mr. Brown that City News Service is not “national news media.” More importantly, a bunch of religious zealots do not get to decide what other people may view on television. As for the show, it is not my taste but it is comedy — farce — and it is not going to corrupt any kids.
We must fight back against this depravity on Fox and deliver thousands more signatures to Fox executives demanding they cancel the show. Please sign our petition today.
The petition has all of 6,000 signatures. I am certain that the executives at Fox are astoundingly impressed.
One of the “stars” of the new show, Kaitlin Olson, says she’s excited to be in a comedy that children can watch. This is an indication of how brazen the producers of this show are, actually hoping that children will be exposed to child sexualization and gender confusion as a form of ‘entertainment.’ They are promoting the show online using the hashtag #KidsAreDicks, and produced a trailer for the show loaded with the “f bomb” including one scene where characters shout the epithet at each other six times in six seconds.
Yet they would subject children to religious confusion. They have no problem teaching kids that science is evil and wrong when it disagrees with the theologians at the Vatican. In fact, they have no problem teaching their kids that their transgender classmate is sick and confused which is contrary to medical and social science? Where is the greater harm?

This is just another pathetic attempt to keep NOM relevant.
