Those orders are still in effect which include protections in the federal workplace. However, the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Order, requiring contractors to report compliance, has been revoked. To receive and maintain contracts companies no longer have to demonstrate that, at least three years, they have complied with federal laws prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender stereotyping.
Employees can, and should, hold these companies accountable for any discrimination that they experience. Discrimination against LGBT people remains impermissible.
