This hate group needs a dose of reality

The folks at American Family Association continue to be severely traumatized by the ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges. One of today's headlines on their fake news blog reads: “Carnival jumps in to make circus out of marriage.” The subtitle by author Chris Woodward reads:
Passengers who board an upcoming cruise may be in for a shock.
Woodward explains:
According to Fox News and other outlets, Carnival Corporation has announced that three of its cruise liners – P&O, Princess and Cunard - will start conducting same-sex marriages onboard.

The decision follows a Supreme Court ruling in Bermuda that legalized same-sex marriage. The P&O, Princess and Cunard are registered in Bermuda.
Shocked? I hate to break it to these people but the likelihood is that nobody gives a crap. Poll after poll demonstrate that about two-thirds of us support same-sex marriage. Most of the other third are probably indifferent to the nuptials of others. What? You would think that some Christian is going to be running around shouting “There's a homosexual marriage on board! There's a homosexual marriage on board! There's a homosexual marriage on board!”

Yes and the ship is also sinking. Grab a life vest and make a run for the rails. See ya.

Anyone who is going to be that exercised over the marriage of two complete strangers is going to have more pressing issues. How the hell would they even get to the damned boat? Five airlines have perfect scores on the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index. Three are at ninety and Hawaiian Air is the lowest at 65?

How do they presume to pay for anything? MasterCard, Visa and American Express all have perfect HRC scores as do most banks. Even Ally Bank which scored a dismal 20 in 2016 is up to 100.

How would they even have a cell phone? The two major providers of mobile operating systems are Google and Apple and both are evil. Want a computer? What's your preference? Apple, Microsoft or Linux? Apple and Microsoft are evil. Linux and the open source community have deep ties to the gay community.

Woodward goes on to explain:
"It's not surprising that Carnival would be at the forefront of promoting same-sex marriage," says Robert Kuykendall, director of communications for 2ndVote, the conservative watchdog for corporate activism. "2nd Vote has looked into Carnival's activity as a corporation and found that they are very close with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), a very controversial corporation at the forefront of promoting the LGBT agenda."
Oh please. 2nd Vote looks at the HRC scores and awards the reciprocal. They cannot answer my questions either. And there are those two key words in any Christian crackpottery:

Someone is always “promoting” something that they disapprove of and there is always that “agenda.” On their site, 2nd Vote offers three alternatives to Apple:
  1. Radio Shack
  2. Visio
  3. LG Electronics
Radio Shack, in bankruptcy, is pretty much history. Visio and LG get a neutral rating of 3 based on the fact that 2nd Vote cannot find any information one way or the other. Neither fills the void either. Very damned informative 2V! Bravo! On their site they also list every HRC sponsor and recipient of a 100 CEI score.

Microsoft, by the way, gets a rating of 1 (the lowest). The only alternative they suggest is LG Electronics of which they know nothing, including the fact that LG does not offer an operating system. Well done! They are also hypocrites:
