Hate Group Leader Tim Wildmon of American Family Association |
Their Bill Bumpas (I won't state the obvious) writes:
According to the leader of a major network of pastors in the United States, the growing Muslim population in America should be a major concern for Christians.Uncritically repeating spew from the likes of Mr. Rohrer is tacit approval. Note how they get in the numerous talking points in one sentence:
American Pastors Network President Sam Rohrer contends that Christians in America should be concerned about any ideology and political system that is completely opposed to the concept of the God in the Bible and constitutional law.
- Islam is a political system.
- Islam's god is invalid.
- Islam is somehow opposed to “constitutional law,” whatever that means.
"Be aware that there are ideologies that are in direct competition to the https://www.onenewsnow.com/culture/2018/01/29/as-muslim-population-grows-christians-must-riseBible – to Christianity," the Christian leader urged. That applies to Jews, Buddhists and Hindus. It is yet another way of espousing Christian supremacy.
Later on:
What is really needed, according to Rohrer, is for true Christianity to be lived out each and every day when an unbelieving world is watching. These right wing groups are enablers of something that is far from “true Christianity.” In a quest for money and political power their greed is expressed in terms of hate and discord. Why would true Christians be threatened by another religion when they claim to have all the right answers and a direct line to their god? These Calvinists are also literalists. They are also hypocrites.
