Breitbart is directly selling a financial scam

The email from Breitbart has the same subject line: The Trump Story No One's Talking About.
Say what you will about progressive outlets. They do not cannibalize their readers. Mother Jones doesn't send out emails hawking products. Neither does the Huffington Post or any other that I can think of. Bear with me while I lay this out.

The sender of the above email is:
“newsletters@mail.breitbart.com” which is confirmed in the source envelope. Here are a few of the headers:

X-Mailgun-List-Id: 4911512
X-Mailgun-List-Address: sales_master_list_ab@mail.breitbart.com
X-Mailgun-Tag: 03152018Sales7FigurePublishingTrumpPennyStocks

So right off the bat you know that this is a problem. I don't want to indulge in a lengthy treatise but no one should ever buy penny stocks. You have better odds at a casino. It gets worse:

Read that carefully. They know something that you don't. At least that's the claim. As you can see, I have clicked on the link. It gets much worse.

After some bullshit about penny stocks that is not even close:

They obviously do not want this kind of scrutiny:

The bottom line to this nonsense is that Breitbart is content to allow its unsophisticated readers to get fleeced. Note that none of this has the foggiest connection to anything that Trump does.

It's one thing if Breitbart wants to sell ad space to these parasites. It's another thing to essentially endorse a sketchy advertiser. The next time you see an anti-LGBT piece in Breitbart, remember just how sociopathic they are.
