A crazy Canadian and a red-caped loon walked into a bar ...

Given all the carnage that they are responsible for, when will these people ever learn that prejudice is indecent?
According to James Risdon: Drag queen admits he’s ‘grooming’ children at story hour events. Risdon goes on to write:
Drag queens are deliberately “grooming” the next generation to accept LGBT ideology when they read to children in public libraries at drag queen “story hour” events, a U.S. drag queen admitted.
James Risdon is an unemployed writer whose last position was as the editor of a local news (New Brunswick) website which no longer exists. Perhaps he would be more successful were he accurate and truthful. Intellectual dishonesty is used by Risdon to editorialize while pretentiously posturing as a chronicler.

Regarding just one sentence (quoted above):
  1. Risdon has a video of a drag queen (singular), not drag queens.
  2. The entertainer, Dylan Pontiff, does indeed use the word “grooming.” While Mr. Pontiff uses the word innocently. James Risdon wants readers to infer that grooming means pedophilic sexualizing.
  3. While Mr. Risdon's orthodox religious beliefs are an ideology, being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender is not. Sexuality is neither a doctrine nor a philosophy.
  4. What Mr. Pontiff “admitted” is that he is “grooming” children to be kind and tolerant.
Risdon goes on to repeat the out-of-context dishonesty:
“This is going to be the grooming of the next generation. We are trying to groom the next generation,” said Pontiff, who when dressed in drag goes by the name Santana Pilar Andrews.
I wish that Pontiff had chosen a different word. Moreover, the purpose of Drag Queen Story Hour is to bring more people to the library and to interest children in reading. That's the entire agenda.

Nothing sinister is going on here. Around the country these events have been a huge success in spite of the religious shit fit that each inspires. These crazy zealots are simply unable to appreciate the good.
More BS:
Pontiff said that as a drag queen he has performed in shows for adults that he compared to an R-rated film. He argued that he should be able to have access to children because, as an adult, he knows how to “filter” himself and make his content PG-rated.
What Pontiff actually said is that, just as actors are capable of being in R-rated and G-rated films, he knows the difference between entertaining adults and entertaining children. Pontiff does not compare his entertainment to an R-rated film. Pontiff never uses the term “PG-rated” which is Risdon's attempt to imply that, even when filtered, Pontiff's entertainment requires adult supervision.

LifeSiteNews provides the video. Risdon's libretto is entirely dishonest.
Enter the red-caped loons:
"Unfortunately, the Drag Queen Story Hour program is turning public libraries into platforms to advance the transgender revolution, places where pro-homosexual activists are given access to children as young as three," said John Ritchie, director of TFP Student Action, in an interview.
TFP (Tradition, Family and Property), for those unaware, is an ultra-orthodox Catholic cult and hate group which got its start in South and Central America supporting odious dictators with death squads. TFP was dedicated to preventing agrarian reform. TFP Student Action is so extreme that Notre Dame University once threw them off campus.

What John Ritchie is essentially saying is that exposure to drag queens will turn kids gay or transgender. Aside from being hateful it is profoundly stupid. Sexuality is neither contagious nor subject to external influence.

Ritchie continues — hurling bat turds at massive turbines:
“Instead of protecting the precious innocence of our children with wholesome stories, libraries are misusing our tax-dollars to harm their innocence,” he said. “To attempt to dismantle and destroy the distinction between male and female is not only biologically ridiculous, but also a direct attack against God's plan for us and for the family. Everyone who loves the family should wake up, pray and push back.”
Mr. Ritchie is incapable of appreciating just how insane he sounds to normal people. He has lost the ability (if he ever had it) to distinguish between faith and reality. His reality is defined by his faith which makes arbitrary what is true and what is not true. He is living in a simplistic fantasy world that does not exist. Ritchie believes that we are elitists or ignoramuses destined for Hell and that he has all the right answers.
Ritchie was just warming up:
"When homosexual 'marriage' was legalized back in 2015, the naive told us not to worry because the decision would never affect us," said Ritchie. "Marriage is just a word, they said. But for those who understand history, the redefinition of true marriage by the U.S. Supreme Court contained a string of ugly consequences."

"What was unthinkable yesterday is tolerated today: Transgender drag performers are allowed to explicitly target children in public buildings," he said.

A number of LGBT activists have highlighted in recent years that the movement’s goal is to “indoctrinate” children into accepting the normalcy of the LGBT agenda.
In the past, John Ritchie has blamed marriage equality for tornadoes so why not blame it for Drag Queen Story Hour. He doesn't even realize that “transgender drag performers” is a contradiction in terms.

A drag queen is an entertainer — a man who is a female impersonator. A transgender person is someone (part of a tiny minority) who experiences incongruent gender and sex. To relieve the stresses of gender dysphoria the individual transitions to, and presents as, his or her gender.

“Indoctrinate” is a loaded word. What LGBT activists strive for is for people to understand the science. Gender and sexual orientation are continua. All points are natural variants of human sexuality. When the pope get a doctorate in a related science he can credibly weigh in.

If efforts to make people know and understand the relevant science are indoctrination then count me in as an indoctrinator. If Mr. Ritchie is so sure of his faith then why is he so intent on misleading people?

Ritchie goes on to quote a couple of prominent LGBT people who say precisely what I just wrote. We promote acceptance and I certainly will not apologize for doing so. What the hell is wrong with accepting people as they are?

James Risdon and John Ritchie promote prejudice, discrimination and ignorance. Where is the virtue in that? The fact that they do so as Defenders of the Faith doesn't make it right. In the United States the same motivations empowered or excused the ethnic cleansing of Native Americans, slavery and then segregation. In Europe even the Holocaust was the product of very similar religious bigotry.

Given all the carnage that they are responsible for, when will these people ever learn that prejudice is indecent?
