Legislation pending in Congress would make showing support for marriage as solely the union of one man and one woman to be illegal. Under HR 5, the grossly misnamed "Equality Act," holding the view that marriage should only be between a man and a woman would constitute sex discrimination against someone who is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. This is a painfully verbose email. Yet Brown doesn't get around to explaining how a point of view becomes discrimination relative to employment, housing or public accommodations (which would be prohibited by HR5). My question is simply this:
NOM has launched a petition to Congress opposing HR 5.
Does anyone really believe this BS?
