Brian S. Brown: "Game on..." (Gaming donors)

Brian S. Brown
Brian S. Brown continues to mislead potential donors
Brian S. Brown, on behalf of National Organization for Marriage, is now in a search of relevance. Of course he is also asking for money. It is my opinion that Mitch McConnell is never going to allow the Equality Act to come to the floor of the Senate. McConnell is now requiring White House pre-approval before legislation is debated and the White House has announced that Trump would veto the bill. Beyond that, where would 60 votes come from?

Rallying the faithful around opposition to the Equality Act is inherently dishonest. Furthermore, Brown has created a nuisance. After requesting calls to McConnell:
Click on that thingie and it creates an email to six Senate staffers and most of the spew will not be from constituents. Furthermore, the staffer might open one of these emails sending the rest to trash.
The above generates the following tweet:
Defeat HR 5 / S 788 and defend #ReligiousLiberty! @senatemajldr @LindseyGrahamSC @lisamurkowski @senrobportman @SenThomTillis @SenatorRomney
Again, this serves no purpose. The Equality Act is DOA in the Senate. Presumably, Brown will take credit for its eventual demise (all measures that have not passed die at the end of the session).
The hyperbolic blather
The InEquality Act is the gravest legislative threat we've ever faced. Just when we have made great strides in protecting the rights of marriage supporters through actions of the Trump administration and the US Supreme Court, the InEquality Act seeks to destroy all those gains and reduce us to second-class citizens. Get this:
The expected LIE
(Emphasis per original)
This legislation actually seeks to declare that it is illegal discrimination against LGBT people to act on a sincerely held belief that marriage is only the union of one man and one woman as God designed it.

Who ever thought that the left would actually try to make support for traditional marriage illegal, but that's exactly what this legislation does. It says that belief in marriage as God created it is a "sex stereotype" which the legislation declares is illegal sex discrimination.
And, of course
(Emphasis per original)
Finally, there's one last thing you can to do help if you are able. We are behind in our fundraising to support this legislative push and would be very grateful for any financial assistance you might be able to provide. If you give a gift now, it will be 100% matched by some generous donors. I'd appreciate your consideration.
