That settles it: Bible Nation Society disapproves

Bible Nation Society is organizing a Rally for Religious Liberty to Counter Governor and Attorney General. Bible Nation Society owns a domain but has no website. BNS is a 501(c)3 but has revenues under $50,000 allowing it to provide its tax return to the IRS by e-postcard. They are terribly upset with the Michigan Civil Rights Commission.

Last summer the Commission made a determination that it would interpret the word sex, as it relates to nondiscrimination protections, to include sexual orientation and gender identity. That didn't go down well in some parts of Christendom which has the shared belief that Free Exercise of religion (as Religious Liberty™) requires the ability to discriminate against those one disapproves of (all neatly cloaked in Christian scripture, of course).

BNS even paid Christian Newswire to publish their message of distress. Note how bigoted discrimination became “conscientious objection.” How lovely:
The very first week of January 2019, newly elected Governor Gretchen Whitmer began issuing executive directives that aligned with the radical Commission. One of note (Executive Directive 2019-09) prohibits the State of Michigan from doing business with any entity that exhibits conscientious objection—religious or otherwise—to the LGBTQ community and agenda.
That simply will not do. I wonder which secular discriminators they are referring to.
This should terrify the citizens of Michigan.
Probably not.

In any event, Bible Nation Society is located at:
2680 E M-21
Corunna, MI 48817

Its officers are:
  • Douglas Levesque of Corunna MI, president
  • James Demis of Of Owasso MI, treasurer
  • Joshua Levesque of Corunna MI, secretary
