Undermining their own anti-LGBTQ argument

Today's most offensive post from American Family Association, an anti-LGBTQ hate group, is titled: Becket busy defending Catholic foster care from LGBT allies.
In 2018, the City of Philadelphia barred Catholic Social Services from placing children in homes due to the agency's policy against placing children with same-sex couples.
The agency's contract was terminated. However it is probably more accurate to say that Catholic Social Services (revenues YE June 30, 2018, $24,313,237) withdrew from the foster care program rather than comply with nondiscrimination requirements. When it comes to foster care, private agencies are doing the work of the state as contractors. They are paid with taxpayer funds. It is absurd to think that an organization can discriminate with tax dollars.

Furthermore, CSS certifies single people as foster parents. They will not certify a married gay couple which makes no sense at all irrespective of the fact that the Church does not approve of same-sex marriage. But here's the best part:
"The city is currently in a foster care crisis," said attorney Nick Reaves of Becket, the law firm representing Fulton and Simms-Busch, in an interview on the "Washington Watch" radio program.
If that is true then it makes no sense at all to limit the number of eligible foster parents. Fulton and Simms-Bush (foster parents) are nominal plaintiffs. Beckett really represents Catholic Social Services. CSS has lost this matter at the district court and then at the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

But there is even more, as the Third Circuit noted:
CSS required would-be foster parents to submit a so-called “pastoral letter” from a religious figure (of any faith or denomination) certifying that they were actively religious, regularly attended services, etc. The City took issue with this policy, arguing that it violated both CSS’s contract with the City and the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the federal Constitution.
