Yet another transgender woman shot in Dallas

Dallas police released this photo of a red four-door pickup truck from which a man shot a transgender woman multiple times.

I do not understand why some men find transgender women threatening. Late Friday evening a man in a late model pickup truck pulled alongside a transgender woman, proceeded to yell transphobic slurs at her, pulled out a gun and shot her. The woman was shot “multiple times” in the chest and arm. I would call that attempted murder.

Due to her injuries, the woman was unable to speak with police investigators until Sunday. The unidentified woman is the third transgender shooting victim in Dallas metro this year (the other two were murdered).
